Local Update Procedure

• Put the USB into USB port of the computer
• Open GMS and go to System Settings and the GMS Utilities

• Click the Red Button under Software Updates entitled “Get Local Update”
• Respond Yes
• Browse to the location of the USB drive
• Click OK. You’ll see a message indicating that the updates have been transferred to the GMS update folder.
• Then follow the prompts and click OK, OK, and yes, and the updates will be installed.
• GMS will close during the update process
• When GMS opens (or you open GMS), you should be prompted to install another software product, a Microsoft product.  Continue to click ok and yes to install the application.  There is no reason to send Microsoft any information.
• This process will occur three times when you open GMS.
• At the conclusion of the update process, GMS will be updated to the latest version.
