PLEASE REVIEW THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION PRIOR TO INSTALLING GMS AND GMS PRO - NOTE: GMS CAN ONLY BE INSTALLED ON THE C DRIVE





  • Make sure that all Windows Optional Updates are installed which reference Microsoft SQL, PowerShell, Crystal Reports, and .Net Framework.

  • Reboot.
  • Verify that the user name is different from the computer name or domain name or your Windows Live ID.
  • Verify that you are connected to the Internet
  • Verify that you are installing GMS for a user with full Administrative privileges (Note Windows 8 & Windows 10 Users: Install on either the local or .live account, whichever account will be used consistently for GMS purposes.   GMS will only work successfully on the account under which it is installed.)
  • Note: Norton Anti-Virus products recognize GMS as a virus so provision should be made to exclude the GMS program and all files from scans.
  • Open this URL to download the installer: https://www.selladeer.com/GMS/Download.htm
  • GMS will instruct you which version to download, along with a download user name and password.
  • Choose to run the program
  • It’s possible windows will warn you not to run the application – choose to run it anyway.
  • There will be 1 or 2 pending installs that need to take place – click Install:
  • .Net Framework 4.0 (after the download completes this could take 10 minutes to install)
  • CRRuntime 13.0.13 (after the download completes this could take 10 minutes to install)



  •   Click Next:






  • Read the license agreement.  If it’s acceptable, select accept and click Next:

  • You can use the defaults for name & organization and select Next:



  • Install at the default location; select Next:

  • Select the appropriate user permissions – generally this will be ‘Anyone who uses this computer (all users):





  • An install Progress Bar should appear.  This portion of the install should take about 2 minutes:



  • When the install completes you should see a GMS Icon on your desktop.  You can click Finish in the installer:


  • Right-click the desktop icon and select ‘Run as Administrator:





  • Some modifications might be run against the database:


  • Enter the registration number:
